National Board for Certification In Hearing Instrument Science

The National Board for Certification In Hearing Instrument Science was at the 2009 Hearing Loss Association of America Convention at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center. They are an independent, non-profit, credentialing organization, established in 1981 to promote continuing competency assurance of hearing health professionals, and to provide a standard of excellence in hearing healthcare for the consumer. It is the only board certification program in the hearing healthcare industry accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA).
